One vessel to deliver rapeseed from Ukraine to Belgium
New York (UN). Dec 8 (Interfax-Ukraine) – A vessel with more than 58,000 tonnes of rapeseed left the Ukrainian port on Wednesday, the Joint Coordination Centre (JCC) has reported.
"On December 7, one vessel Xin Feng left the port of Pivdenny carrying a total of 58,250 tonnes of rapeseed destined to Ghent, Belgium under the Black Sea Grain Initiative," the JCC said in a report.
"Grains that reach a destination may go through processing and be trans-shipped to other countries," the JCC said.
Another three bulkers transited the maritime humanitarian corridor on December 7 on their way to the Ukrainian ports.
In addition, 63 dry cargo ships waiting to move – following inspection – into Ukrainian ports with the capacity to export approximately 2.4 million tonnes of grain and other food products, and 21 oaded vessels are waiting for inspection in Turkish territorial waters.
"As of December 7, the total tonnage of grain and other foodstuffs exported from the three Ukrainian ports is 13,193,383 tonnes. A total of 1,060 voyages (531 inbound and 529 outbound) have been enabled so far," the JCC said.
