One person killed, teenager injured in night shelling of three districts of Dnipropetrovsk region – region’s head

KYIV. Aug 19 (Interfax-Ukraine) – On the night of Friday, August 19, Russian occupiers shelled the territory of three districts of Dnipropetrovsk region, as a result of which a person was killed, a teenager was hospitalized with injuries, said head of the Regional Military Administration Valentyn Reznychenko.

"The Russian army has covered three districts with fire at once: Kryvy Rih, Synelnykove and Nikopol," he wrote on the Telegram channel on Friday morning.

In particular, Russians killed a 36-year-old man in Apostolivska merged territorial community of Kryvy Rih district. The territories of the community were fired from Hurricanes. In the village of Pershotravneve, housing, a gas pipeline and an electric transmission line were mutilated.

Velyka Kostromka of Zelenodolska community was fired from barrel artillery. There is destruction. People were not injured.

A 12-year-old boy was wounded in Mezhivska community of Synelnykovsky district. He was just sleeping at home when shells from the Russian MLRS Tornado S flew into his house.

"The child is in the hospital, he was operated on," Reznychenko added. There is a disfigured housing in the village.

According to him, the enemy sent 10 shells from barrel artillery to the center of Nikopol at night. Up to 20 high-rise buildings, a dozen shops, a lyceum, a bank and a bus stop were damaged in the city. The power line is out of order. Electricians are working. There were neither dead nor wounded.
