Occupiers shell Saltivsky district in Kharkiv, fire breaks out – Terekhov

KHARKIV. Aug 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) – On Tuesday evening, the Russian occupation forces have once again shelled Saltivsky district in Kharkiv, no casualties are reported, according to preliminary information, Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov has said.

Later, he specified that the invaders shelled a garage cooperative, several private garages were destroyed and caught fire. Transport infrastructure was also damaged.

"Another arrivals in Saltivsky district. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties, but a fire broke out. I am asking everyone to stay on bomb shelters," the mayor said on the Telegram channel.

As reported, on August 16 in the morning, the Russian invaders shelled Saltivsky district. Nine people were wounded and one 75-year-old woman was killed.
