Occupiers again shell Kurakhove, two houses, hospital damaged, one person injured – local authorities
KYIV. Jan 6 (Interfax-Ukraine) – One person suffered injuries as a result of an enemy shelling attack on a hospital in the town of Kurakhove, Donetsk region, on Thursday morning, Head of Donetsk Regional Military Administration Pavlo Kyrylenko has said.
"The day in Kurakhove started with an enemy artillery shelling. The Russian troops shelled the center of the town, and hit two multi-apartment buildings and one private house. Also, the building of the local hospital was damaged. According to preliminary information, one person was injured there," he said on the Telegram channel on Friday.
Kyrylenko recalled that it was not the first attack on the town and called on local residents for evacuation.
Later, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Tymoshenko said that there were 21 people in the local hospital at the moment of the shelling. An employee of the hospital was injured.
"She is receiving medical care," he said on the Telegram channel.
