Occupation forces shell special school in Ivanopillia, educational facility in Bakhmut – regional authorities
KYIV. Feb 28 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Russian occupation forces shelled the village of Ivanopillia in Kostianstynivska united territorial community in Kramatorsk district, Donetsk region, causing damage to the local special school, on Monday night, Head of Donetsk Regional Military Administration Pavlo Kyrylenko has said on the Telegram channel.
The occupiers also shelled an educational facility in Bakhmut on Monday, he said.
“All infrastructure in this town has been in fact demolished to the ground,” Kyrylenko said.
No casualties were reported as a result of the shelling attacks.
According to Kyrylenko, 720 educational establishments, including 299 kindergartens, 317 schools, 43 higher education establishments, 29 vocational schools, and 32 non-school education facilities suffered damage of varying degree in Donetsk region.
