Now there’s no possibility of negotiations with Putin – Zelenskyy
KYIV. Feb 24 (Interfax-Ukraine) – President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy says that there is no possibility of negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin right now.
“Erdogan knows my position [about the possibility of organizing negotiations with Putin in Turkey]. I don’t perceive it,” Zelenskyy said at a press conference on Friday.
The head of the country said that he had appealed to Turkish President Recep Erdogan before the start of a full-scale war regarding the fact that the Russian president was “put at the negotiating table.”
“Put him at the negotiating table, we cannot allow the risks of a full-scale war. He [Erdogan] could not do it then. And not only him, he’s powerful. He couldn’t. And now he thinks he can. Now we can’t, it’s not the same person [Putin], there’s no one to talk to,” Zelenskyy summed up.
