No casualties in Tuesday enemy missile attack on Zhytomyr region – region governor
KYIV. Aug 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) – There are no casualties as a result of an enemy missile attack on Zhytomyr region on Tuesday, Head of Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration Vitaliy Bunechko has said.
"We would like to inform that, fortunately, there are no casualties as a result of the explosions in Zhytomur region caused by the launch of enemy missiles from the territory of Belarus," he said on the Telegram channel.
The official also called on the residents of the region to mind the air alert signals and hide in bomb shelters if they hear the sounds of siren.
As reported, two explosions went off in Zhytomyr region as a result of the missile attack.
