Nissan Motor Ukraine resumes deliveries of cars from European warehouses

KYIV. Aug 12 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Nissan Motor Ukraine, a subsidiary of the Japanese corporation Nissan Motor, has resumed deliveries of cars to Ukraine from Nissan’s European warehouses, the first batch has already arrived in the country, the importer’s press service reported.

"This is another important step in the resumption of full-fledged work of the company in Ukraine," the press release said.

As reported, at the end of May, the company resumed deliveries from European warehouses of spare parts, motor oils and car accessories.

The press release notes that in addition to car deliveries, Nissan is resuming the Nissan Financial Services lending program. A loan can be issued with an interest rate of 0.01% per annum for a period of five years, the minimum down payment is 30%.

Nissan Motor Ukraine started its activity in April 2005, performs the function of importer and distributor of Nissan and Infiniti in the country.

According to Ukrautoprom, in July of this year, the initial registrations of Nissan cars decreased to 89 units compared to 439 units in July 2021 and 102 cars in June of 2022, due to which the brand ranked 14th in the ranking of new car sales, although back in June it was eighth.
