Nine vessels carrying agricultural products for Africa, Asia, Europe leave Big Odesa ports over two days – Infrastructure Ministry
KYIV. Nov 19 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Nine vessels carrying 162,000 tonnes of agricultural products for African, Asian and European countries left the ports of Big Odesa over two days, the Infrastructure Ministry of Ukraine has said.
"In particular, today, BOZBURUN-M bulk carrier with 40,000 tonnes of wheat for Ethiopia on board departed. It is the eights vessel chartered by the UN World Food Program for assistance to African and Asian countries," it said on the Telegram channel.
Twenty-six more vessels are being loaded by 1 million tonnes of Ukrainian agricultural products in the ports of Big Odesa.
Some 475 vessels have left the ports of Big Odesa since August 1. They exported 11.2 million tonnes of Ukrainian food to Asian, European and African countries.
