Nibulon, Dniprovsky Metallurgical Plant top list of largest recipients of budget VAT refunds in Sept – Treasury
KYIV. Oct 4 (Interfax-Ukraine) – One of the largest operators in the Ukrainian grain market, Nibulon, and Dniprovsky Metallurgical Plant topped the list of the largest recipients of budget value added tax (VAT) refunds in September, according to data from the State Treasury Service.
According to the report, Nibulon last month received almost UAH 1.5 billion of budget reimbursement of the specified tax, and the plant – UAH 1.35 billion, while both companies had no data on reimbursement in August.
In addition to these companies, the top five in September also included Zaporizhstal with UAH 654.8 million against UAH 407 million in August, Polyus Trading, specializing in the wholesale of metals and metal ores – UAH 646.7 million against UAH 1.095 billion, as well as the Poltava Mining and Processing Plant (GOK) – UAH 636.4 million against UAH 182 million.
The second five includes metallurgical plants from Metinvest Group: Azovstal – almost UAH 551 million and Mariupol Illich Iron and Steel Works – UAH 504.5 million (both companies had no data on reimbursement in August).
The top ten also includes ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih – UAH 500.15 million (UAH 386 million), Kernel-Trade agricultural exporter that topped the list in August – UAH 452.4 million (UAH 1.6 billion), as well as LDK Ukraine – UAH 255.27 million (UAH 465.8 million), according to the data of the treasury.
