New textile hypermarket of Textile-Contact group in Kyiv to open on Sept 2

KYIV. Aug 28 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The new textile hypermarket of the group of companies Textile-Contact (TK) – TK-Market, near the Kharkivska metro station in Kyiv, will open on September 2 in test mode in the new shopping and office center Klever, and on September 17 it is planned to officially open, owner of the group Oleksandr Sokolovsky said.

"I have long wanted to share the news that TK will soon be opening a new hypermarket of fabrics at 38 Bazhana Avenue, right at the exit from the Kharkivska metro station. It was only in July that we started to finish the ‘base’ premises at an accelerated pace. A little more, and we will arrange the equipment, lay/hang the fabrics and we will be ready to open on September 2 and work in test mode for now," Sokolovsky wrote on Facebook on Friday evening.

Hypermarket area is 1800 square meters, it occupies the entire third floor of the new shopping center, working hours from 10:00 to 20:00.

The owner of the group said that TK-Market is the new name of the group’s retail network after the rebranding of the entire Textile-Contact, which affected not only the name (TK-Group) and corporate style, but also the entire format.

Textile-Contact is one of the largest trade and production groups on the Ukrainian light industry market, founded in 1995. Currently, it is a holding that unites various areas of assets: wholesale and retail trade, import of fabrics, accessories and home textiles, as well as sewing workwear (including military uniforms), medical products.

The range of its products includes more than 30,000 types of fabrics from 27 countries of the world and 20,000 kinds of goods in the categories: accessories, tailoring, decor and home textiles.
