New model of admission to internship to work in Ukraine from 2022 – Health Ministry
KYIV. Aug 26 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The new rules for entering the internship will take effect in Ukraine from January 1, 2022, according to the website of the Ministry of Health on Thursday.
According to the message, the corresponding order of the Ministry of Health dated June 22, 2021 No. 1254 was registered with the Ministry of Justice.
"We are introducing a controlled system of training for interns, so that in the event of a crisis, Ukraine will not again find itself without specialists of the necessary professions. Starting next year, it will be the Ministry of Health that will determine the priority specialties for training in internship, based on the staffing needs of the state. We will also approve the list of accessible bases of internships for interns," Minister of Health Viktor Liashko explained this decision.
According to the statement, among the main changes:
– rating competition;
– an electronic system of the corresponding rating distribution – the graduate will independently choose the desired specialty, internship base and institution of higher education;
– The Ministry of Health, together with the National Health Service of Ukraine and universities, will develop criteria for determining internship bases and compile a list of them annually.
The state order for the training of interns will also be formed by the Ministry of Health, taking into account the real staffing needs of the industry.
