New electric vehicles market triples in Feb – Ukrautoprom
KYIV. March 6 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Sales of new electric vehicles in February of this year tripled compared to the same month in 2022, to 413 units, which is also 40% more than in January of this year, the Ukrautoprom association reported on its Telegram channel.
The association said on Monday that Volkswagen ID.4 remained the bestseller in the new electric car market, with 134 units.
Dong Feng (Honda) M-NV was second with 86 units, and Volkswagen ID.6 was third with 33 cars registered.
The fourth most popular model was the compact Honda E (27 units), and the Mercedes-Benz EQC rounded out the top five of the February market (16 units).
According to Ukrautoprom, a total of 708 new electric vehicles were sold in Ukraine in January-February 2023. It is 2.6 times more than in the same period of 2022.
