New confirmations received about preparation of terrorist attack at ZNPP – Main Intelligence Agency
KYIV. Aug 19 (Interfax-Ukraine) – New confirmations of information about the preparation by the Russian occupiers of a terrorist act on the territory of Zaporizia nuclear power plant (NPP) on August 19 have been received, the Main Intelligence Agency of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported.
"Additional confirmations of information about the preparation by the occupiers of a provocation at Zaporizhia nuclear power plant on August 19 have been received. In particular, licensed personnel (performing their functions on the basis of a license issued by the State Nuclear Inspectorate) are ordered to stay at home. A small part of the operational personnel will be allowed to enter the territory of the station," the Agency wrote on Telegram on Friday.
According to the Intelligence Agency, on August 18, representatives of Rosatom were absent from the evening meeting of the management of the NPP, who have always been present at all such meetings since the occupation. The Agency noted that representatives of Rosatom "left the territory of the NPP."
"Taking into account the number of weapons that are located on the territory of the nuclear power plant, as well as repeated provocative attacks, there is a high probability of a large-scale terrorist attack at a nuclear facility," the Main Intelligence Agency stressed.
