Net sale of foreign currency by population since early September reaches $1 mln – NBU Council head
KYIV. Sept 28 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Net sales of foreign currency by the population (cash and noncash) since the beginning of September 2021 amounted to $1 million, while since the beginning of the year net sales amounted to $1.8 billion, Head of the Council of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) Bohdan Danylyshyn has said.
"Since the beginning of September, the net purchase of foreign currency by individuals amounted to $20 million, and net sale in noncash totaled $21 million. Since the beginning of the year, the net sale of foreign currency by the population (in cash and noncash) amounted to almost $1.8 billion," he wrote on Facebook on Tuesday.
