Net profit of ProCredit Bank increases by 37.7% in Jan-Sept

KYIV. Oct 29 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Net profit of ProCredit Bank (Kyiv) in January-September 2021 amounted to UAH 567.8 million, which is 37.7% more than in the same period in 2020 (UAH 412.4 million), the bank’s quarterly report said.

According to it, in the third quarter, ProCredit Bank’s net profit amounted to UAH 210.4 million, which is 35.8% more than in July-September 2020 (UAH 154.9 million).

Bank’s net interest income for three quarters increased by 7.2% compared to the same indicator a year earlier, to UAH 1.043 billion, and net fee and commission income increased by 19%, to UAH 147.9 million.

The assets of ProCredit Bank over nine months increased by 8.1%, to UAH 29.34 billion, in particular, client loans increased by 12.3%, to UAH 21.9 billion.

The bank’s liabilities in January-September increased by 9.3%, to UAH 25.53 billion. In particular, client funds increased by 5.7%, to UAH 19.35 billion.

The bank’s equity capital in nine months increased by 0.7%, or by UAH 25.6 million, to UAH 3.8 billion, the charter capital remained at the level of UAH 1.572 billion.

ProCredit Bank (formerly Microfinance Bank) was founded in 2001. Its sole shareholder at the beginning of 2021 was ProCredit Holding (Germany).

According to the National Bank of Ukraine, as of September 1, 2021, in terms of total assets, ProCredit Bank ranked 16th (UAH 29.284 billion) among 72 banks operating in the country.
