Nearly 3,800 Armenians killed during 2020 conflict with Azerbaijan – Armenian Investigative Committee
YEREVAN. Oct 4 (Interfax) – The Armenian Investigative Committee has updated data on the number of Armenians who were killed or went missing during the war in Karabakh in the fall of 2020.
"The overall number of deceased service members and civilians amounts to 3,788," the press service for the Investigative Committee said on Monday.
As of September 27, the Armenian Investigative Committee had reported 3,781 fatalities in the Karabakh war.
As of October 4, 2021, the fates of 224 servicemen and 22 civilians are unknown, it said.
"Up to present, Azerbaijan has returned 108 military service members and civilians to Armenia," the Investigative Committee said.
