NBU starts calculating and publishing govt bonds yield curve on Sept 12
KYIV. Sept 8 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) will start calculating and publishing the government bonds yield curve on September 12, NBU Deputy Governor Yuriy Heletiy said.
"From September 12, we start calculating and publishing the yield curve of government bonds, without coupon yield. The normal functioning of the secondary market is very important, since it shows the market yield, it is important for the formation of yield in the primary market," he said during a press briefing by the regulator on Thursday.
According to him, the secondary market is slowly "swinging" and the NBU hopes that the insignificant volumes that are now will grow.
