NBU launches separate call line for processing complaints against banks during opening of account for one-off voluntary declaration
KYIV. Aug 31 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has launched a call line to process complaints about the actions of banks during the opening and using of an account for a one-off voluntary declaration, the press service of the central bank has said.
According to the report, in case of complaints about the bank’s actions in the process of opening such a special account and using it, one should contact the State Tax Service by calling 0800505240, and for clarifications related directly to the issues of declaration, one could also contact the State Tax Service.
As reported, in Ukraine on September 1, 2021, a campaign on a voluntary one-off declaration of assets of individuals will begin, which will last one year, until September 1, 2022. The declaration will enable Ukrainians to legalize their property and release them from liability. At the same time, declarants cannot be persons who, in any period from January 1, 2010, perform or have performed public functions in Ukraine.
