National Guardsman who shot his colleagues in Yuzhmash turns himself in to law enforcers – SBI

KYIV. Jan 27 (Interfax-Ukraine) – National Guardsman Artem Riabchuk, who shot the guard on the territory of the Pivdenny Machine-Building Plant (Yuzhmash) in Dnipro, handed himself over to law enforcement officers, the State Bureau of Investigations (SBI) has said.

Deputy director of the SBI regional department in Poltava Volodymyr Shylo told journalists in Dnipro on Thursday that Riabchuk had contacted law enforcement officers and surrendered to them.

He said that the National Guard asked a random woman to contact the police and report his whereabouts.
