National Bank announces Credit Agricole Bank systemically important bank
KYIV. March 13 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Based on the results of the annual review of the list of systemically important banks, the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) included Credit Agricole Bank in it, thus increasing the number of banks in the list to 15.
As stated in NBU board decision No. 95 dated March 8 “On the definition of systemically important banks”, it also includes A-Bank, Kredobank, OTP Bank, Oschadbank, Pivdenny Bank, PrivatBank, FUIB, and Raiffeisen Bank.
The list also includes Sense Bank, TAScombank, Ukrgasbank, Ukreximbank, UkrSibbank and Universal Bank (monobank).
As of February 1, 2023, Credit Agricole Bank ranked 11th among 67 banks operating at that time in terms of total assets (UAH 81.03 billion). Currently, the number of operating banks has decreased to 65.
