Naftogaz wins tender to supply 500,000 cubic meters of gas to Moldova's Energocom
KYIV. Oct 28 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Naftogaz Ukrainy has won a tender to supply the Moldovan state-owned company Energocom with 500,000 cubic meters of gas, director of integrated communications of the Ukrainian company Maksym Beliavsky told reporters.
"The volume is 500,000 cubic meters. The delivery period is October 29," he said.
Earlier, Ukraine sent to Moldova 15 million cubic meters of gas on a return basis to maintain the minimum pressure in the gas distribution network. Moreover, this week Moldova has started buying gas on the international market. The government has instructed the state-owned company Energocom to announce daily tenders.
