Naftogaz wins another tender for supply of 12.1 mcm of gas to Moldovan Energocom
KYIV. Oct 30 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Naftogaz Ukrainy on Friday won another tender from Moldovan Energocom, within which it will supply the state company with 12.125 million cubic meters of gas, Director for Integrated Communications of NJSC Naftogaz Ukrainy Maksym Beliavsky has told reporters.
"Based on the results of this procurement procedure, the company entered into an individual contract for the sale and purchase of natural gas with Energocom with a sales volume of 128,525 MWh. This is approximately 12.125 million cubic meters," he said.
As reported, this week Moldova started buying gas on the international market. The government has instructed the state-owned company Energocom to announce daily tenders.
Earlier, Naftogaz won a tender for the supply of 500,000 cubic meters of gas to Energocom on October 29.
In addition, Ukraine sent Moldova 15 million cubic meters of gas on a return basis to maintain the minimum pressure in the gas distribution network.
