Naftogaz replaces head of Gas Distribution Networks of Ukraine
KYIV. Feb 28 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Oleksiy Skryl, formerly head of Gas of Ukraine, has replaced Denys Myrhorodsky as head of the management board of Gas Distribution Networks of Ukraine, a company of Naftogaz Ukraine.
“The decision to appoint the new head for the period of one year enters force on February 28,” the company said.
Myrhorodsky is leaving the post “by his own accord, for personal reasons,” he said in a post on social networks.
As reported, in May 2022, at the request of the State Bureau of Investigations (SBI), the court transferred seized private corporate rights to 26 regional and urban gas distribution system operators to the Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA).
On September 2, 2022, Naftogaz registered Gas Distribution Networks of Ukraine LLC, with main activity of the distribution of gas through local pipelines. In January 2023, Naftogaz began to integrate Dniprogaz and Kharkivgaz into its structure, specifically by changing their management.
