Mykolaiv seaport reduces transshipment of goods by 12.8% in Jan-Aug
KYIV. Sept 24 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Mykolaiv seaport in January-August 2021 reduced transshipment of goods by 12.83% compared to the same period in 2020, to 16.826 million tonnes.
According to the website of Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority, during the specified period, the port reduced the transshipment of export cargo by 18.44% compared to January-August last year – to 11.873 million tonnes, increased the transshipment of imported cargo – by 7.59%, to 4.206 million tonnes, increased the transshipment of transit goods – by 13.97%, to 133,770 tonnes, however, reduced the transshipment of cabotage goods – by 14.8%, to 613,350 tonnes.
Transshipment of bulk cargo in Mykolaiv seaport for the eight months of 2021 decreased by 7.93% – to 2.092 million tonnes, dry bulk cargo – by 14.83%, to 12.527 million tonnes, packaged cargo – by 5.01%, to 2.206 million tonnes.
As reported, Mykolaiv seaport in 2020 reduced the transshipment of goods by 9.86% compared to 2019 – to 30.135 million tonnes.
