More than 400 civilians, incl. 11 children, killed in Mykolaiv region since beginning of war – Kim

KYIV. Sept 15 (Interfax-Ukraine) – More than 400 civilians, including eleven children, were killed in Mykolaiv region since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Head of Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration Vitaliy Kim has said.

"During all time [the number of victims] has increased… Today, the number of affected civilians is 1,613 people, regrettably, 436 of them were killed, including eleven children," he told a press briefing at the Ukraine-Ukrinform Media Center on Thursday.

Some 10,940 facilities were damaged in the region during the full-scale war, some 7,150 of them are housing objects, including multi-apartment buildings.

"The city of Mykolaiv is damaged very badly, for example, on the day before yesterday [September 13], because there were around ten S-300 missiles and almost all of them hit some buildings," Kim said.
