More than 1,300 people in Kharkiv region wanted as missing – regional police head
KHARKIV. Feb 25 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Over the year since the beginning of the large-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, 2,272 people have been declared missing in Kharkiv region, said head of the State Department of the National Police in the region, Volodymyr Tymoshko.
“During the year, 2,272 people were put on the wanted list as missing. Fortunately, we found a significant amount. But 1,311 people remain unfound, of which 741 are civilians,” Tymoshko said at a briefing on Friday.
According to him, on average, 5-10 people are reported missing on the wanted list per day.
