Monastyrsky initiates management, financial audit at Interior Ministry
KYIV. Sept 6 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denys Monastyrsky has announced the beginning of a management and financial audit in the ministry to understand the work of the system.
In an exclusive interview with the Interfax-Ukraine agency, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs said that the pause in his publicity after his appointment as minister was deliberate.
"It is necessary to delve into many processes, to understand more deeply how the system works in order to propose an angle of changes," explained Monastyrsky.
In this context, he noted: "Any management matter must start with an audit in order to understand where you are, what needs to be changed, introduced, eradicated.Therefore, on my instructions, the management and financial audit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has now begun, because this is a huge structure in which 350,000 people work."
According to the minister, he is already ready to present large systemic projects to the public.
