Mobile operators on Oct 10-11 relaunch over 3,000 base stations throughout Ukraine – Deputy PM
KYIV. Oct 12 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Over the past day, Ukrainian mobile network operators have resumed the work of more than 3,000 base stations throughout Ukraine.
Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov wrote about this on the evening of October 11 in his Telegram channel.
According to the information made public by him, as of the evening of October 11, 988 stations were relaunched in Kharkiv region, 800 in Lviv region, 383 in Kyiv region, 363 in Poltava region, 266 in Sumy region, and 262 in Zhytomyr region, which on October 10 were affected by the power outage due to the shelling of the thermal power plant.
"This is the result of the efficient work of energy suppliers and television companies. The first promptly restored electricity, while the latter returned communications as quickly as possible. Currently, they are working on the return of communications and the Internet for residents of Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Khmelnytsky and Dnipropetrovsk regions," Fedorov said.
