Missile debris case in Moldova proves critical need to supply missile defense, air defense systems to Ukraine – MFA
KYIV. Dec 6 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The fall of rocket fragments in Moldova shows how dangerous Russian aggression is for the entire region, Ukraine says with Western partners that such cases prove the critical need for the prompt delivery of missile defense and air defense systems to Ukraine, spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleh Nikolenko said.
"Ukraine is in constant contact with our neighbors, including Moldova. Indeed, yesterday there was information that after the Russian rocket attack on Ukraine, rocket fragments were found on the territory of Moldova. Certainly, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry immediately reacted to this event, also was the statement of the head of the Moldovan Foreign Ministry. That is, we are unanimous in the assessment that Russian missile terror threatens the security of not only Ukraine, but also the security of neighboring countries," Nikolenko said on the air of the national telethon on Tuesday.
The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the incident with the fall of the rocket shows how dangerous Russian aggression is for the entire region.
Nikolenko also said Ukraine "is talking with Western partners that such cases prove the critical need for the prompt delivery of missile defense and air defense systems to Ukraine."
