Missile attacks on Kyiv kill five, wound 47 – State Emergency Service
KYIV. Oct 10 (Interfax-Ukraine) – As a result of a massive Russian missile attack on Kyiv on October 10, five people died and 47 were injured, Svetlana Vodolaga, head of the press service of the Ukrainian State Emergency Service in Kyiv, has said.
"As a result of this massive attack, their were casaualties: five people died, 47 people were injured. Also, rescuers saved 12 people and rescuers evacuated 24 people from those houses that were damaged. At the moment, rescuers are still in place: they are dismantling blockages. Therefore, it is possible that the numbers will be slightly different," he said on the air of the national telethon #UAat once on Monday.
Vodolaga also noted that rescuers worked in the capital "at six sites where enemy missiles hit."
