Ministry of Social Policy submits list for aid payment for over 276,000 people to UN World Food Program
KYIV. Aug 26 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine has submitted to the UN World Food Program a list for the payment of assistance to more than 276,000 people.
"According to the concluded memorandum, the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine submitted to the UN World Food Program the next list of applications for cash assistance. It consists of 127,626 applications from beneficiaries – low-income families and persons with disabilities from Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kharkiv, Kherson, Kyiv, Luhansk, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Sumy and Zaporizhia regions. Assistance will be able to receive 276,551 people," the ministry’s press service said in a statement.
It is noted that in general, the lists previously transferred for payments to international organizations according to memorandums include 780,722 people, in addition, information was transferred for making payments to 189,428 persons indicated in applications submitted through the eDopomoga (Aid) platform.
"That is, today the total number of people transferred on the lists to international organizations for making payments is 1.247 million," the department said.
