Ministry of Finance approves requirements for seals for special transit facilitation
KYIV. Nov 8 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine has registered an order approving the requirements for special type seals and their storage, which can be applied by authorized economic operators (AEO) or companies that have received permission for special transit facilitation.
"The order approved three seals of a special type, requirements for their characteristics and technical specifications, accounting using the appropriate register and storage," the Ministry of Finance said on the website last week.
AEO and companies that have received permission for special transit facilitation have the opportunity to independently apply special type seals without presenting goods to customs authorities. This reduces the time and resources for customs formalities, the ministry said.
Currently, AEO authorization has been granted to one enterprise – the manufacturer of tobacco products JTI Ukraine.
