Ministry of Economy expects to process 1,000 applications under eOselia program by year end
KYIV. Nov 3 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine expects to process 1,000 applications under the eOselia (eHouse) program of affordable housing loans by the end of the year, the press service reported.
"We must work to ensure that eOselia is a mass product. I hope that by the end of the year we will be able to process 1,000 applications and issue appropriate loans. I also know that there are already decisions taken by banks to approve about a dozen loans for issuance," First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko is quoted in a press release.
According to her, since the launch of the program on October 1, several thousand applications have already been received, of which 83% are from the military, 11% from doctors, 4% from researchers, and 2% from teachers.
In addition, beta testing of the acceptance of applications in the Diia application has started, the press service reports. So, to submit an application, a participant does not need to collect documents separately – banks automatically synchronize the necessary data from registers.
