Ministry of Community, Territories Development presents basic maps of all merged territorial communities
KYIV. Sept 23 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Ministry of Community and Territories Development of Ukraine presented basic schematic maps of all merged territorial communities in Ukraine based on the results of the administrative-territorial reform that took place in the country.
"Until now, there was no cartographic basis for all territories of territorial communities, which could be used both in current work and in planning local development. As a result of the new administrative building, most communities have changed their composition and area of territories. Therefore, their own schematic map, which will mark the community’s border, all settlements, highways, infrastructure facilities, water and forest resources, etc., will help them develop more systematically. This is a very important resource for communities, which is presented in Ukraine for the first time," the ministry’s press service said.
The maps of each territorial community are available on the Decentralization portal and are ready for printing in the original scale, as well as in the form of a picture that can be used in presentations or text documents.
