Minimum pension for people over 70 years old with full period of service to be UAH 3,000 in 2022 – minister
KYIV. Sept 28 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine Maryna Lazebna has announced an increase in the minimum pension for people over 70 years old in 2022.
"Next year, the pension payment for a person over 70 years old with the full period of service will be no less than UAH 3,000," she said at a press conference in Kyiv on Tuesday.
In addition, the minister said that the process of carrying out the comprehensive pension reform is currently underway. In particular, the authorities intend to restore justice in the pay-as-you-go system through a bill on the system of state guarantees for disabled persons, as well as introduce a mandatory funded system and develop voluntary pension savings.
