Migrants try to cross Belarus-Poland border, Polish security forces use water cannon, tear gas, stun grenades – Belarusian state news agency
MINSK. Nov 16 (Interfax) – Some of the migrants who have gathered on the Belarusian-Polish border attempted to cross into Poland and were stopped by Polish security forces on Tuesday, the Belarusian state-run news agency BelTA said.
"Having been driven to despair, the refugees are crushing the fence and pelting Polish security forces with stones. The Poles are using tear gas and stun grenades," it said.
"The people are saying they are tired of waiting and are ready to break through. The Poles in response have brought in a water cannon and are hosing the people with water in the cold," it said.
