Metallurgical enterprises of Ukraine raise consumption of gas by 6.1%, electricity – by 4.4% in Jan-Aug
KYIV. Sept 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Metallurgical enterprises of Ukraine in January-August this year increased consumption of natural gas by 6.1% compared to the same period last year, to 1.310 billion cubic meters.
According to the information of the Ukrmetalurgprom association, electricity consumption by metallurgical enterprises for this period amounted to about 7.67 billion kWh (104.4% against January-August 2020).
As reported, Ukrainian metallurgical enterprises in 2020 increased consumption of natural gas by 4.4% compared to the previous year, to 1.88 billion cubic meters, electricity consumption during this period amounted to about 11.1 billion kWh (99.4% from 2019).
