Members of NBU Monetary Policy Committee unanimously speak in favor of maintaining key policy rate at 25%
KYIV. Sept 19 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) kept the key policy rate at 25% at the September 7 meeting of the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) unanimously supported MPC members, the NBU said on its website on Monday.
"Given this balance of risks, the MPC members unanimously spoke in favor of maintaining the key policy rate at 25%. This level of the key policy rate is sufficient to maintain exchange rate stability and keep inflationary processes in check over the policy horizon, the discussants agreed," the NBU said in a press release.
