Medical Procurement of Ukraine signs contracts for UAH 1.79 bln as part of procurement for 2021 budget funds

KYIV. Sept 22 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The state enterprise Medical Procurement of Ukraine within the framework of centralized procurement in 2021 signed contracts for UAH 1.790 billion.

Yulia Ivakhnenko, the deputy director general of the company, told reporters purchases of 264 out of 574 items have already been completed as of September 20.

At the same time, the savings on purchases in 2021 to date amounted to UAH 504 million.

Procurement on 29 items are at the stage of signing contracts, procurement procedures for 281 items are underway.

Ivakhnenko also said that as of that date, 98% of the goods purchased with the funds of the 2020 budget and 2% of the goods purchased with the funds of 2021 were delivered.

Regarding purchases for the 2022 budget, she noted that currently the Ministry of Health has already completed the formation of the nomenclature in some areas, but has not yet collected from the regions the volume of demand for purchased goods.

"This year we already have an approved nomenclature in some areas, but we do not yet have the collected demand," she said.
