Median rental prices in Kyiv fall by 10-15% – LUN
KYIV. Jan 6 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The number of requests for renting apartments in Kyiv in December 2022 increased by 3% compared to the pre-war level, the press service of the new buildings portal LUN told Interfax-Ukraine.
As reported, the team of the bird iOS app for renting apartments in Kyiv has prepared updated statistics on the situation with demand and prices in the capital market.
According to the study, the median price of renting a one-room apartment in Kyiv continues to fall – to UAH 8,500, which is 10.5% lower than in November. At the end of February last year, it was UAH 13,000 per month.
The median price for renting two-room apartments at the end of December was UAH 12,000, which is 14.2% lower than the previous month. In February it was UAH 21,600.
For three-room apartments, the median price reduction was 9%. Now such an apartment can be rented for UAH 20,000. This is significantly lower than pre-war prices, because on February 24, 2022, such housing would cost UAH 46,100 per month.
