Median cost of renting one-room apartment in Kyiv recovered to March 2022 level – OLX

KYIV. Feb 22 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The median cost of renting a one-room apartment in Kyiv in January 2023 recovered to last year’s figure and amounted to UAH 9,300 per month, the OLX Real Estate portal reported.

According to OLX analytics, the median price of renting two-room apartments in Kyiv at the beginning of 2023 is still lower than last year – UAH 12,800 per month versus UAH 14,200 per month. The same trend is for three-room apartments: the median rental price in January of this year is UAH 18,600 per month versus UAH 22,400 per month in March 2022.

At the same time, prices grew in Dnipro. So, one-room apartments in January were offered for an average of UAH 7,000 per month versus UAH 6,300 per month last year, two-room apartments rose in price by 14%, to UAH 9,400 per month, three-room apartments by 13%, to UAH 11,300 per month.

According to OLX, in Lviv in January 2023 by March 2022, one- and two-room apartments rose in price, and three-room apartments fell in price. Thus, the rent of one-room apartments increased by 27.1%, to UAH 13,600 per month, two-room apartments by 11%, to UAH 17,300 per month. At the same time, the median cost of renting three-room apartments decreased by 3%, to UAH 17,700 per month.

According to the study, the highest median rental prices in January were recorded in Uzhgorod: UAH 16,200 per month for one-room apartments, UAH 18,200 per month for two-room apartments, and UAH 21,900 per month for three-room apartments.
