Manifestation of solidarity of whole world with Ukraine to bring not only practical help, but also power of awareness of unity – Charles III
KYIV. Feb 24 (Interfax-Ukraine) – King Charles III of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth Realms noted the importance of solidarity with Ukraine for realizing the unity of the whole world.
“It has now been a year that the people of Ukraine have suffered unimaginably from an unprovoked full-scale attack on their nation. They have shown truly remarkable courage and resilience in the face of such human tragedy … It is heartening that the United Kingdom, along with its allies, is doing everything possible to help at this most difficult time,” the King’s message published on the Buckingham Palace website on Friday says.
Charles III noted that after the start of the full-scale invasion, he met Ukrainians not only in the UK, but all over the world, from Romania to Canada, and also met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at Buckingham Palace to express personal support to the people of Ukraine.
“I can only hope the outpouring of solidarity from across the globe may bring not only practical aid, but also strength from the knowledge that, together, we stand united,” the king stressed.
