Macron welcomes de-occupation of Kherson, considers it important step towards restoration of Ukrainian sovereignty
KYIV. Nov 11 (Interfax-Ukraine) – French President Emmanuel Macron has said that he welcomes the liberation of Kherson from the Russian occupiers, and considers it an important step towards the restoration of Ukrainian sovereignty.
"I welcome the return of Kherson to Ukraine, an important step towards the full restoration of its sovereign rights. France will stay close to Ukrainians," Macron said on Twitter on Friday.
