Macron strongly condemns Russian atrocities in Izium, assures that perpetrators to be held accountable for their actions
KYIV. Sept 17 (Interfax-Ukraine) – French President Emmanuel Macron condemned the atrocities of the Russian Federation in Izium (Kharkiv region) and assured that those responsible would be held accountable for their actions.
"I condemn in the strongest possible terms the atrocities committed at Izium in Ukraine under the Russian occupation. The perpetrators will be held responsible for their actions," Macron said on Twitter.
"There is no peace without justice," the French leader said.
