Macron: Our thoughts are with all victims, children, their families affected in Brovary
KYIV. Jan 18 (Interfax-Ukraine) – French President Emmanuel Macron expressed condolences to the Ukrainian people over the plane crash in Brovary, which occurred near a kindergarten.
"I am saddened by the tragic death of the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denys Monastyrsky. Our thoughts are with all the victims, children and their families, of this terrible event that happened near the kindergarten. France expresses its condolences to its Ukrainian friends," Macron said on Twitter.
Earlier, Deputy Head of the President’s Office Kyrylo Tymoshenko said 30 people were injured as a result of a helicopter crash on the territory of a kindergarten in Brovary, Kyiv region, and a further fire. It is also known about 16 dead, including three children.
