Lviv to return high school to full-time education at end of week – Moskalenko

KYIV. Nov 16 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The decision to return the high school to full-time education in Lviv will be made at the end of this week due to the high incidence of coronavirus, First Deputy Mayor Andriy Moskalenko said.

"Today, at the Commission on Environmental Safety, Manmade Disaster and Emergency Response, we have studied the monitoring indicators and so far we have not seen any improvement. Therefore, it was decided to consider the issue of resuming full-time all classes, education in art schools and the work of section circles at the next meeting of the commission, on Friday," Moskalenko said at a briefing on Tuesday.

As reported, on November 15, full-time education in grades 1-4 of schools was resumed in Lviv. Also, on November 15, the Lviv Regional Commission on Environmental Safety, Manmade Disaster and Emergency Response decided to resume full-time education in grades 5-11 of schools, as well as in higher educational institutions from November 22.
