Lubnymash continues to fulfill foreign contracts despite war

KYIV. Aug 12 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Lubnymash (Lubny, Poltava region), a manufacturer of elevators and equipment for them, continues to fulfill contracts signed before the full-scale Russian military invasion of Ukraine, including the construction of an elevator complex in Kazakhstan.

"Currently, the installation work of the first two silos in Akmola region is being actively carried out. In total, six silos with a diameter of 16.5 m will be installed, with a total storage capacity of 18,000 tonnes of wheat (3,000 tonnes each). Transport equipment (conveyors) with a length of 425 m has been installed," the company wrote on Facebook.

Prior to this, Lubnymash installed two cone tanks with a diameter of 7.3 m and a total capacity of 900 tonnes of wheat at this facility.

Earlier, in September 2021, Oleksandr Pleskach, the deputy director of the machine-building enterprise, told Interfax-Ukraine that in 2020 the company contracted for 2021 the construction of two facilities in Kazakhstan, one in Georgia, and also signed a contract for the production of transport equipment for elevators in France. In 2021, the company entered into new export contracts with Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Belarus.

According to the company’s website, Lubnymash is a Ukrainian manufacturer and supplier of equipment for the transportation, storage, processing of grain, grain products and other materials. The company sells its products under the Lubnymash brand.

The company’s plant in the Poltava region has its own foundry, forging and painting facilities, two assembly shops, a mechanical shop, tool, welding and assembly and procurement areas, warehouses for materials and finished products.

According to the unified state register of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs, the ultimate beneficiary of Lubnymash is Maria Kudryk.
