Loan portfolio of Ukrainian banks grows by 1% in Jan, NPL by 1.3% – NBU
KYIV. Feb 28 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The loan portfolio of Ukrainian banks in February 2023 grew by 1%, to UAH 1.145 trillion, while the volume of non-performing loans (NPL) rose by 1.3%, or by UAH 5.6 billion, to UAH 437.741 billion, follows from a report published on the website of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) on Tuesday.
According to it, the share of NPL of the country’s banking system in January increased to 38.24% from 38.12% a year earlier.
