Lithuania's Seimas to declare state of emergency on border with Belarus on Nov 10
VILNIUS. Nov 9 (Interfax/BNS) – Lithuania’s parliament, the Seimas, on Tuesday decided to declare a state of emergency on the border with Belarus from midnight on November 10.
The state of emergency will be declared for a month starting on November 10 on the section of the border and in the area, which is five kilometers inland from the border, as well as in the migrant camps in Kybartai, Medininkai, Pabrada, Rukla and in Vilnius.
The resolution introducing the state of emergency was passed by 122 votes in favor and one against.
